ABOUT THE 21ST ANNIVERSARY
For the next 12 months, from the launch of our Poundcatcher campaign at The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials on 4th September 2009, we will be celebrating 21 years since The Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund was established.
To read updates on the campaign and stories following our launch please go to our news page.
OUR GOAL
Since the Fund’s creation in 1988, it has provided well over a million pounds of help to injured riders and handlers (and their families in need).
As part of the Anniversary celebrations we are launching a National Fundraising Campaign to raise a quarter of a million pounds which will enable the Charity to continue its work, either in financial or other support and to carry on playing a leading role in issues that relate to the welfare and safety of riders.
Our Ambassadors:
Various celebrities have kindly agreed to help us spread the word. They include BBC Country File’s Matt Baker; Sky Sports TV presenter Alex Quinn and ‘King of the Jungle’ Christopher Biggins. Visit our ambassadors page to read more about them and why they are supporting us.
